課程重點

透過參與運用創造力、演奏技巧及聆聽能力的綜合音樂活動,讓學生獲得豐富和全面的音樂學習經歷,從而達到音樂科課程的四個學習目標,包括:

  1. 培養創意及想像力
  2. 發展音樂技能與過程
  3. 培養評賞音樂的能力
  4. 認識音樂的情境

學與教特色

小四級推行「一人一樂器」計劃

為致力推動樂器普及化及一人一樂器,我們於小四的音樂課堂中,讓每位學生選取一件樂器(木管、銅管或敲擊)學習,由學校聘請專業的樂器導師及借出樂器供學生使用,每位同學於每星期的音樂課中學習自選樂器,學期完結時老師更安排綜合表演晚會讓他們演出,作為他們全年的學習總結。經過一年的學習後,同學們都培養出學習樂器的興趣,他們更會參與步操管樂團,繼續學習自選樂器。於其他小學年級,學生亦會於音樂課堂學習口風琴,建立演奏能力。

全方位學習

除了課堂學習,學生可選擇參加不同的音樂聯課活動,包括:中國鼓隊、步操管樂團、小鼓隊、古筆班、合唱團及手鐘隊,學校更安排各隊伍參加各式各樣比賽,擴闊視野。

Curriculum Highlights

In the process of music learning, students use creativity, performing and listening skills to gain rich and comprehensive music learning experiences through the integrated music activities, and achieve the four Learning Targets of the Music curriculum, including:  

  1. Developing creativity and imagination
  2. Developing music skills and processes
  3. Cultivating critical responses in music
  4. Understanding music in context

Learning and Teaching

One Musical Instrument for Each Student Scheme in P4 

To promote music instruments for all, the school let each P4 student pick a music instrument (woodwind, brass or percussion) to learn from professional instructors in each week’s music lesson. Students are also given the opportunity to play in the annual performance, as a summary of their year-round learning. After a year of learning, students developed interest in playing their own instruments, some of them may even join the marching band. For other primary levels, students will learn the harmonica in music lessons to build up their playing ability.

Life-wide Learning

In addition of classroom learning, students are free to join different co-curricular music activities, including Chinese Drums, Marching Band, Snare Drum, Guzheng, Choir and Handbell Team. The school also arranges each team to participate in various competitions with a view to expanding their horizons.
