目的
本校重視照顧學生的不同學習需要,啓發和照顧資優生是優質教育的重要一環。本校著力提升教育資素,讓每一位學生均有機會接受和發展潛能的機會,啟發學生思考、創造力及個人與社交的能力,務求能照顧不同學生才華的發展。
推行模式
本校按教育局指引採用「三層架構推行模式」,以規劃及推行校本資優教育。
第三層: 校外支援 | 3E – 特別資優學生 本校推薦資優學生參加校外為特別資優學生而設的課程(例如:香港資優教育學苑課程、香港中文大學資優課程等)。此外,推薦或帶領學生參加校外舉辦的活動、工作坊、講座或比賽等,藉此提升資優學生的潛能。 | |
第二層: 校本抽離式計劃 | 2C – 擁有特別才能或於學科表現出色的學生 以抽離方式在一般課堂以外進行一般性增潤課程(例如:領袖才能訓練、英語大使、圖書館理員等)。 | 2D – 於某特定範疇表現出色的學生 以抽離方式在一般課堂以外進行專科特定範疇的延伸課程(例如:奧數訓練班、科學小博士、視藝隊、各項音樂校隊、各項球類校隊等)。 |

Objectives
Gifted education is part of quality education. Catering for different educational needs, we strive to enhance our education quality for each student to tap their potential and explore their thinking, creativity and social skills for talent development.
Implementation
We adopt the “Three-Tier Implementation Model” recommended by the Education Bureau to plan and implement school-based gifted education.
Level 3Off-school support | 3E – Exceptionally gifted students We nominate these students to participate in external programmes for exceptionally gifted students (e.g. programmes offered by Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education and Chinese University of Hong Kong, etc.) In addition, we recommend or lead students to participate in activities, workshops, talks or competitions held outside the school so as to unleash their potential. | |
Level 2School-based pull-out programmes | 2C – Students with specific talents or outstanding academic results Pullout programmes of generic nature (e.g. leadership training, English Ambassador, Librarian, etc.) conducted outside the regular classroom toallow systematic training of a homogeneous group of students. | 2D – Students with outstanding performance in specific domains Pullout programme of specific nature (e.g. Math Olympiad Class, Little Doctor of Science, VA Team, various music teams, sports teams etc.) conducted outside the regular classroom to allow systematic training of students with outstanding performance in specific areas. |
