- 增進學生對與本科相關的語言知識的瞭解、提升學生對中華傳統文化的認識。
- 提高學生對本科的學習興趣，培養自學能力、養成良好的學習態度和習慣。
特色
- 提供多元化的學習及展示機會——鼓勵學生參加多樣化的活動，以增強學生的表達信心、提升普通話運用能力。活動包括：公開比賽（朗誦比賽、講故事比賽等）、普通話水平測試、學校恆常舉辦的普通話日活動、以普通話為主要語言的參觀訪學等。
- 創設與中華傳統文化關聯的語境——舉辦跨學科、多元化的趣味主題學習活動，並與中華傳統文化建立緊密關聯。在學習普通話語音知識的同時，提升學生的文化素養、並加深其國民身份認同。活動包括：攤位遊戲、拓印工作坊、誦讀《孝經》等。
Objectives
- Cultivate students’ listening, speaking, and reading abilities in Putonghua, and establish a foundation in learning Pinyin.
- Enhance students’ understanding of language knowledge related to the subject and deepen their awareness of Chinese traditional culture.
- Increase students’ interest in Putonghua and foster their self-learning abilities. Develop positive learning attitudes and habits.
Characteristics
- Provide diverse learning and showcase opportunities—encourage students to participate in diverse activities to boost their confidence and improve their Putonghua proficiency. Activities include: Public competitions (Speech Festival, storytelling competitions, etc.), Putonghua proficiency tests, Putonghua Day, and school visits conducted in Putonghua.
- Create contexts related to Chinese traditional culture—organize interdisciplinary and diverse thematic learning activities closely tied to Chinese traditional culture. While learning Putonghua phonetics, students will enhance their cultural literacy and strengthen their national identity. Activities include: booth games, rubbing workshops, and recitation of the Classic of Filial Piety.
