農曆新年假期第一天的早上，可譽領袖生、朋輩輔導員及公民大使在家長的陪伴下，為慈善不遺餘力，參與由基督教協基會主辦的親子賣旗籌款活動(東涌區)。
起初，孩子們對於出言邀請途人買旗，感到難以啟齒，有點怕羞。經過老師及家長的一番鼓勵及教導後，他們都漸漸願意嘗試踏前一步，突破自己，最終在成功賣旗及被拒絕的不斷交替下，克服了心理障礙，表現更被街坊稱讚。
可譽謹在此感謝家長的同行，您們的身體力行，是讓孩子成功體會「施比受更有福」的鐵證，建立「仁愛」精神的基礎。
On the first morning of the Lunar New Year holiday, with the accompaniment of parents, the student prefects, peer counselors, and civic ambassadors of Ho Yu wholeheartedly participated in a parent-child fundraising event by selling flags organized by the The Church of United Brethren in Christ.
Initially, the children found it difficult to approach passersby and invite them to buy flags, feeling a bit shy. After some encouragement and guidance from teachers and parents, they gradually became willing to take a step forward, surpassing themselves. In the end, through a continuous cycle of successful flag sales and rejections, they overcame their psychological barriers and were praised by the neighborhood.
Ho Yu would like to express sincere gratitude to the parents for their companionship. Your leading by example is the solid proof that allows children to experience the blessings of “giving is better than receiving” and establish a foundation of the spirit of “Benevolence.”
