數學只能停留在死板的計算嗎？當然不是！

為了讓孩子們初學分數時不再感到害怕，我們三年級特別結合了數學科與視藝科，推出了充滿趣味的跨學科活動——「分數寶盒」(Fraction Box)！

看孩子們多麼專注又自信地展示自己的作品！大家利用圓形紙張，靈活運用不同的分數（如 1/2、1/4、1/8 等），拼湊出獨一無二的圖案。

有可愛的紅藍小魚、色彩繽紛的蝴蝶、香噴噴的漢堡，甚至還有戴著眼鏡的搞怪笑臉！在沒有沉重課業壓力的「零負擔」環境下，孩子們透過「動手做」，不知不覺就將抽象的分數概念具體化、生活化，真正達到了寓教於樂的效果。

這不僅強化了數學根基，更培養了他們的藝術美感與創造力。從小建立這種靈活思考的習慣，也正是為他們未來在「創科編程」的學習道路上，打下最穩健的基石！

To help our young learners feel confident when first encountering fractions, our Primary 3 classes have specially combined Mathematics and Visual Arts for a fun, cross-curricular activity — the “Fraction Box”!

Look at how focused and confident our students are as they proudly present their masterpieces! Using circular paper cutouts, they skillfully applied different fractions (such as 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc.) to piece together unique and creative designs.

From adorable red and blue fish and colorful butterflies, to delicious-looking hamburgers and even goofy smiley faces with glasses! In a stress-free learning environment with “zero burden,” children internalized abstract fraction concepts concretely and into everyday life through hands-on creation, truly achieving the goal of learning through play.

This activity not only strengthens their mathematical foundation but also nurtures their artistic aesthetics and creativity. Cultivating this flexible thinking habit from a young age is precisely what lays the most solid groundwork for their future path in STEM and coding!
