“Who says reading is a solo activity?” When Sik Sik Yuen English Storybook Sharing Competition arrived, our group turned pages into a team sport. Six incredible students stepped up to the microphone, transforming the stage into a vibrant library of our favorite tales.
The road to the stage was paved with hours of dedication. Our representatives didn’t just read their stories; they lived them, meticulously committing entire chapters to memory. When the spotlight hit, any potential stage fright melted away into pure showmanship. With commanding voices, expressive facial expressions, and dynamic choreography, they transformed simple recitations into a masterclass in storytelling that held the audience spellbound.
Lightning has struck twice! For the second year in a row, our group has again achieved the spectacular result at the competition. Here is the prize list:
