欣悉本校作為「國際青少年創科大賽」之種子學校，並肩負離島區指定代表的重任，持續為香港培育創科人才。在此與各位分享一則振奮人心的喜訊：

本校初小Matatalab編程精英團隊，於日前舉行的「MatataWorld大灣區不插電編程挑戰賽2026（官方賽）」新界區初賽中，表現卓越，再下一城，榮獲多個入等獎項。其中，獲頒一等獎的學生更成功奪得晉身大灣區決賽的資格，將代表本校及離島區，與大灣區其他城市的優秀選手同場競技，角逐更高殊榮。

這批初小創科種子已然萌芽，印證本校推動的「DEAR」學習計劃初見成效。透過該計劃，我們的學習小主人得以全身投入，在動手實作與解難過程中，逐步建構對創科世界的認知與熱情。

可譽將一如既往，秉持培育創科人才的使命，為學生搭建更廣闊的學習舞台。讓我們一同祝願晉級同學在大灣區決賽中再創高峰，並感謝老師與家長的悉心支持。

We are delighted to announce that Ho Yu, as a Seed School of the “International Youth STEAM Education Competition 2026” and the designated representative of the Islands District, continues to fulfil its mission of nurturing STEAM talent for Hong Kong. It is our great pleasure to share the following exciting news:

Our Primary Section Matatalab coding team delivered an outstanding performance at the recent MatataWorld GBA Unplugged Coding Challenge 2026 (Lower Primary Group – New Territories). The team achieved remarkable results, winning multiple merit awards. Among these, students who received First-Class Awards have successfully secured their places in the Greater Bay Area Finals, where they will represent our school and the Islands District to compete alongside outstanding young coders from other cities across the Greater Bay Area.

These young STEAM seeds have already begun to sprout, demonstrating the initial success of our “DEAR” Learning Programme. Through this programme, our young learners are fully engaged in hands-on problem-solving, gradually building their understanding and passion for the world of innovation and technology.

Ho Yu remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing future innovators and providing our students with broader learning platforms. We extend our best wishes to the finalists for continued success at the Greater Bay Area Finals, and we express our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers and parents for their unwavering support.
