五月五，過端午！
今年端午節，可譽的全方位學習節不是飄着糭香，而是響起了熱鬧的鑼鼓聲！孩子們一起朗讀了有趣的童謠《划龍船》：
五月五，是端陽；
龍船雙雙鬧長江；
兩邊坐着划船手；
中間坐着打鼓郎；
咚咚鏘；咚咚鏘；
咚咚咚咚鏘！
在鏗鏘的節奏中，大家不僅認識了端午節的由來與習俗，還發揮創意，動手製作出屬於自己獨一無二的手工龍舟 
。看着一艘艘色彩繽紛的龍舟在課堂上「下水啟航」，彷彿重現了江河上百舸爭流的熱鬧場景！
除了感受傳統節慶的氛圍，我們更希望孩子們能從中獲得勇氣。同場加映的「乘風破浪」動畫片裏，面對波濤依然奮力向前的精神，正是我們想傳遞給可譽孩子的祝福 
。

May 5th – it’s the Dragon Boat Festival!
This year, our school’s activity wasn’t filled with the aroma of rice dumplings – it echoed with the lively sound of drums! Our students recited the fun nursery rhyme Rowing the Dragon Boat:
May 5th, the Dragon Boat Day;
Dragon boats race along the river in a lively way;
Rowers sit on both sides, oars in hand;
The drummer sits right in the middle, leading the band;
Dong-dong-qiang! Dong-dong-qiang!
Dong-dong-dong-dong-qiang!
Through these rhythmic verses, students not only learned about the origins and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival but also unleashed their creativity by making their very own handmade dragon boats . As these colourful boats “set sail” across the classroom, it was as if we could see the bustling scenes of a hundred boats racing down the river!
Beyond embracing the festive spirit, we also hope our students gain courage from this experience. The animated film Riding the Waves, shown as a special feature, depicted characters bravely pressing forward through stormy seas – and that is exactly the message we want to share with every Ho Yu child .
We wish all our students that, just like these dragon boats and you too may –
Fear no wind or wave, charge ahead with courage, and chart your own brilliant course!
