可譽管樂團首次於聯校音樂大賽中贏得 金獎——這項比賽的最高榮譽！
這是可譽繼去年古箏隊首次奪金後，再一次寫下校史新一頁。當日同場名校林立，不少樂團的學生人數比我隊多出一倍，指揮更是經驗豐富的資深導師，實力無庸置疑。隨隊家長亦坦言，今年整體比賽水平比去年更高。因此，當評判宣布可譽奪金的一刻，全體學生既驚且喜——面對如此強勁的對手，能夠脫穎而出，實在是喜出望外。
評判特別讚賞樂團 「聲音融和，足以填滿整個元朗劇院」 ，演奏樂曲《Sahara Adventure》時展現出飽滿而統一的音樂力量。
回望三年前，樂團由步操管樂團轉型為管樂團，幾乎是從零開始。今年，第一批隊員即將畢業，老師看着她們由稚嫩走到成熟，心中難免感觸。如今，團內的女孩子已能互相為彼此整理頭髮，不再需要老師事事操心——這些細微的成長，正是音樂以外最動人的風景。
可譽管樂團，金獎之路，由堅持寫成。

The Ho Yu Wind Band has won the Gold Award for the first time at the Joint School Music Competition – the highest honour of the event!
This marks another milestone for Ho Yu, following the Guzheng Team’s first gold medal last year. On the competition day, many renowned schools participated, with some bands having twice as many students as Ho Yu. Their conductors were also seasoned professionals, leaving no doubt about their strength. Accompanying parents from Ho Yu remarked that the overall standard of this year’s competition was even higher than last year’s. When the adjudicator announced that Ho Yu had earned the Gold Award, the students were overjoyed and astonished. To achieve such a result against formidable opponents was truly beyond their expectations.
The adjudicator praised the band, saying that their “sound was so well-blended that it filled the entire Yuen Long Theatre” as they performed the piece Sahara Adventure.
Looking back three years ago, the band transformed from a marching band into a concert wind band, starting almost from scratch. This year, the very first cohort of members will graduate, and their teachers can’t help but feel emotional. Today, the girls in the band have grown up – they now help each other tidy their hair without needing teachers to worry over every little detail. These small moments of growth are among the most touching scenes beyond the music itself.
Ho Yu Wind Band: the road to gold is paved with perseverance.
