This year’s Primary 5 course, “Electric Aircraft Carrier Catapult,” received the “AI-Assisted Teaching Learning Design Award (Values Education)” from the IN-SMART Programme, Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong.
Students use the AI platform Gemini + R.T.F. prompt framework to create their own assessment rubrics
Improve their designs independently through the engineering design cycle PDIR
Take on the role of national defence engineers, learning about military security and national achievements
Collaborate in teams, respect diverse opinions, and enhance AI literacy and a sense of commitment
The course integrates the OECD AI Literacy Framework and Bloom’s Taxonomy of higher-order thinking, achieving a true integration of “Technology × Values × Self-Directed Learning.”
