As part of our “DEAR” Program Star Rewards, the wonderful children who have shown outstanding effort were treated to a special fun-filled activity with Vice Principal Lo – playing with the Rubik’s Cube!
The children were absolutely thrilled as they followed Vice Principal Lo’s instructions step by step. Some picked it up very quickly and successfully solved the puzzle, while others faced challenges along the way. But that’s perfectly alright – through trial and error, they learned valuable lessons from their mistakes, embraced the experience, and cultivated a positive learning attitude. Every twist and turn brought new discoveries, and the joy of trying was felt by all.
At Ho Yu, our “DEAR” Program for Primary 1 and 2 students is designed to nurture children into “Masters of Their Own Learning” – building daily habits of reading and exercise, cultivating character through calligraphy, developing positive values, and expanding their personal vocabulary through diverse themes. These experiences lay a solid foundation for self-directed learning as they progress to upper primary and secondary school.
To encourage active participation and dedication, we offer special Star Rewards, giving outstanding students the chance to enjoy quality time with our Principal and Vice Principal. Previously, our young DEAR stars had a wonderful time drawing portraits of Principal Leung during their lunch break.
We firmly believe that every child is filled with unlimited potential. By giving them opportunities to try, along with sincere recognition and encouragement, their potential can shine brightly. When children build confidence, their learning takes flight – soaring higher and further than ever before.
