可譽小五的孩子,日前走進中學部,與麥校長共度了一個既充實又溫暖的下午。
第一站:譽書房
麥校長親自講解中學體制,讓孩子看見「可譽人」的身份與責任,學會規劃將來,為升中做最好的心理準備。
第二站:演講廳
樊老師和何老師帶來精彩的課外活動介紹,還有「跨難」學習計劃——告訴孩子:遇到困難,不是阻礙,是成長的契機。
第三站:STEM ROOM
章老師分享師兄們的比賽經歷、心血與成就,然後給孩子一個挑戰:
把原本用 3D 打印出來、用來插試管的木架,改造成具備 LED 燈的多功能收納座 ![]()
不一定只插筆,還可以放各種小物——從實踐中學習,從創造中自信。
可譽善用「一條龍」+「地利」優勢,讓孩子不必「跳級式」適應中學生活,而是 一步一步、有溫度、有節奏地銜接。
4月10日這天,他們不是參觀,是體驗成為中學生。
【Through-train + Campus Advantage】
Our Primary 5 students recently spent a fulfilling and warm afternoon with Secondary Principal Mak.
Stop 1: Yu Study Room
Principal Mak explained the secondary school system, helping children understand what it means to be a “Ho Yu student” and the importance of planning ahead for their secondary journey.
Stop 2: Lecture Hall
Ms Fan and Mr Ho introduced secondary school extracurricular activities and the “Overcoming Challenges” learning programme – teaching students that difficulties are not obstacles, but opportunities to grow.
Stop 3: STEM Room
Mr Cheung shared senior students’ competition experiences, hard work, and achievements. Then came the challenge:
Transform a wooden test tube rack – originally 3D printed for holding test tubes – into a multi-functional LED storage stand ![]()
It doesn’t have to hold only pens; it can store all kinds of small items. Learning by doing, building confidence through creation.
With the through-train model and campus proximity,
Ho Yu helps students adapt to secondary school life step by step, with warmth and rhythm – no sudden leaps.
On 10th April, they weren’t just visiting – they were experiencing what it feels like to be a secondary student.
