可譽小一、二級的孩子都會參與小童軍活動，使具備「日行一善」及自律守己精神。
在5月的小童軍集會中，本校特邀家長到校，與小童軍們一起進行「STEM」活動，從製作閃閃心意卡的過程中，探究閉合電路的運作，共同找出使裝飾燈泡亮起來的方法。看見親子們彼此努力鑽研，循序漸進根據指示完成步驟，互相交流，在試驗成功與失敗間，同喜同悲，著實令人動容。

At Ho Yu, all Primary 1 and 2 students participate in Grasshopper Scout activities, cultivating a spirit of “doing a good deed daily” and self-discipline.
In the Scout meeting, we invited parents to join the Grasshopper Scouts in a STEAM workshop. Through creating sparkling greeting cards, they explored how closed circuits work and collaborated to figure out how to light up decorative bulbs.
It was heartwarming to see parents and children diligently follow instructions, troubleshoot together, and share both the joy of success and the lessons from setbacks.
