5月17日，可譽六名孩子參與了「嗇色園主辦小學聯校英語閱讀心得分享比賽」，並以出色表現獲得嘉許。在低年級組別中，P1D謝皓政榮獲冠軍，P3C梁子姍則奪得亞軍；高年級組別中，P5B Mittal Advika同學獲亞軍，P5B班大河原嘉琳亦贏得季軍。
「台上一分鐘，台下十年功」，孩子們所展現的學習成果離不開師生們及家長們所投入的時間與努力，他們精選了倡導正向價值觀的讀物演繹，內容涵蓋堅毅、承擔、仁愛、責任與同理心等主題。經歷數週準備與比賽歷練，孩子們在台上都能突破自我，自信地以英語分享故事，提升英文説話能力，持續進步。我們深信，這份無限潛能將引領他們在未來創造更大的成功！
On 17th May, six of Ho Yu students participated in the “Sik Sik Yuen Joint –School English Book Sharing Competition” and received commendations for their exceptional performances. In the junior category, P1D Tse Ho Ching won the championship, while P3C Leung Grace Tsz Shan secured the runner-up position. In the senior category, P5B Mittal Advika claimed the runner-up award, and P5B Okawara Karin earned the third-place prize.
“As one minute on stage requires ten years of practice off stage,” the students’ remarkable achievements reflect the dedicated efforts of teachers, parents, and the children themselves. They carefully selected reading materials promoting positive values such as perseverance, responsibility, benevolence, accountability, and empathy for their presentations. After weeks of preparation and the competition experience, all participants surpassed their personal limits by confidently delivering stories in English, thereby enhancing their language proficiency and continuous growth. We firmly believe this unlimited potential will guide them toward even greater success in the future!
