5月13日(星期二)，可譽(小學部)承蒙辦學團體嗇色園鼎力支持，在屬校可風中學及可譽(中學部)順利舉行了生涯規劃體驗活動——「嗇色園屬校中學巡禮」。
是次活動旨在讓小五級孩子及家長能親身走進中學校舍，體驗中學校園生活，認識中學科目，同時更全面了解兩所學校不同的辦學模式。
上午，大夥兒到了可風中學參觀，在學生大使帶領下，參與了由譚在能校長主講的講座，以及進行了中學教室體驗及校園遊活動，節目十分豐富，孩子們都樂此不疲，留下深刻的印象。
離開可風中學後，孩子和家長們便啟程回到可譽，可活動尚未完結，而是移師至可譽(中學部)繼續行程。期間，孩子及家長們兵分兩路。孩子先後體驗了不同的活動，有：在人文室進行城市規劃設計、在STEM Lab認識機械工程及電機電子、在實驗室裏上了一節進階版的可譽一條龍生物科技課，孩子們都表現投入。至於家長們呢，則到了室內體育館參與由麥敏潮校長主持的講座，他親自講解可譽辦學理念及課程特色，接着更邀請家長參與中一級學生的課堂，觀察師生們運用英語上課的情況。
緊湊的行程在中午時圓滿結束，相信孩子及家長們經過是次體驗活動，都滿載而歸。
最後，感謝家長們的積極參與，以及嗇色園的資源整合與協調，為孩子提供拓展視野的關鍵契機，助力其穩健過渡至中學階段。
On 13th May (Tuesday), Ho Yu (Primary Section), with strong support from Sik Sik Yuen, successfully held the career planning experience activity — “Visit to Secondary Schools of Sik Sik Yuen” at Ho Fung College and Ho Yu (Secondary Section).
The purpose of this event was to allow Primary 5 children and their parents to personally enter the secondary school campus, experience secondary school life, learn about secondary school subjects, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the different educational models of the two schools.
In the morning, They visited Ho Fung College. Led by student ambassadors, they participated in a lecture presented by Principal Mr. Tam Choi Nang Julian, and engaged in classroom experiences and campus tours. The program was rich and varied, leaving a deep impression on the children who enjoyed it thoroughly.
After leaving Ho Fung College, the children and parents set off back to Ho Yu, but the activity was not over; it continued at Ho Yu (Secondary Section). During this time, the children and parents split into two groups. The children experienced various activities, including urban planning design in the Humanities Room, learning about mechanical engineering and electrical electronics in the STEM Lab, and participating in an advanced version of Ho Yu’s biotechnology class in the laboratory, where they were very engaged. As for the parents, they went to the gymnasium to attend a lecture hosted by Principal Mak Man-chiu, who personally explained Ho Yu’s educational philosophy and curriculum features. He also invited parents to observe a class for Secondary 1 students, where they could see how teachers and students used English in lesson.
The tight schedule concluded successfully at noon, and it is believed that both the children and parents returned with plenty of valuable experiences from this activity.
Finally, thanks to the parents for their active participation, and to Sik Sik Yuen for their resource integration and coordination, providing key opportunities for children to broaden their horizons and aiding their smooth transition to secondary education.
