2月21日的全方位學習節,英文科和圖書科為小四級學生設計了跨學科學習活動,孩子們在外籍老師Mr. John指導下,一起從《Little Mermaid》故事中,學習閱讀策略——分析記述故事的要素。在英語室內,孩子們分成好幾個學習小組,一邊專心地閱讀故事,一邊細心地分析情節,很快他們都已掌握得宜。
可譽希望透過教授孩子閱讀策略,提升他們學習效能,為裝備高小的自主學習奠下穩固的學習基礎。
On 21st February, during the Life-wide Learning Activities period , the English and Library departments designed interdisciplinary learning activities for Primary 4 students. Under the guidance of foreign teacher Mr. John, the children learned reading strategies by analyzing the elements of the story from “The Little Mermaid.” In the English Reading room, the students were divided into several learning groups, focusing on reading the story while carefully analyzing the plot. They quickly grasped the concepts.
Ho Yu hopes to enhance the children’s learning effectiveness by teaching them reading strategies, thereby laying a solid foundation for autonomous learning in higher grades.
