On the afternoon of the 17th day of the Lunar New Year, marking the first comprehensive festival after the Spring Festival holiday, Ho Yu specially presented a Chinese lion dance experience for the children. The aim was for them to enjoy the festive joy and celebration while personally experiencing traditional Chinese cultural customs.

That day, Ho Yu invited the Lau Ming Fung Lion Dance Association to demonstrate for the children, with Principal Leung and mainland expert Teacher Ms. Bai leading the way to “open the eyes” of the lion. Amid the sounds of drums and firecrackers, the phrases “Prosperity of the School” and “Good Health” were unfurled by the lion, eliciting rounds of applause and blessings from the audience.

Afterward, Master Lau provided a detailed introduction to the origins and history of the lion dance, and the children were thoroughly engaged, listening intently. Finally, under the guidance of the lion dance association’s disciples, the children learned lion dance techniques, making it a wonderful opportunity to experience the charm of Chinese culture!
