在12月18日由香港水務署節約用水組主辦的「慶祝東江水供港六十周年」填色及繪畫比賽暨「惜水學堂」教育計劃頒獎典禮上，可譽大放異彩，不論在學生、學校乃至校長層面，都獲頒殊榮，甚至再次蟬聯，充分肯定了師生們於過去一年在守護國家資源安全上所付出的努力。
獎項如下：
學生：節約用水智叻星獎
學校：離島區金獎
校長：傑出領袖獎
展望將來，可譽將肩負教育的重任，帶領全體師生持續關注資源問題，盡力維護國家安全，齊心同建更美好的生活。
On 18th December, at the ” Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Dongjiang Water Supply to Hong Kong” coloring and drawing competition and the award ceremony for the ” Cherish Water Campus – Primary School ” education programme, Ho Yu shone brightly. Both students and the school, including the principal, received honors, with the school winning the gold award once again. This fully recognizes the efforts made by teachers and students in safeguarding the country’s resource security over the past year.

School: Gold Award in Islands District
Principal: Outstanding Leadership Award
